Permissions

Access to the DR1 portal is carried out according to the role in which one belongs. That is, there are different types of access and each of them allows accessing certain tools and handling them in different ways.

Let's get to know a little more about each of them:

Creators and Approvers

The tools of the DR1 portal were built so that, in each Organization, there is one person who creates the campaigns and another who approves.

Creator roles can only create campaigns and send them for approval. They cannot approve and, thus, cannot launch a campaign. There are 5 types of creator roles, each one specific for each product:

These roles are:

  • Preload Creator
  • Campaign Creator
  • Data Rewards creator
  • SAP (Sim App Push) Creator
  • Journey Creator

On the other hand, for campaigns to be effectively triggered and to be made available to users, it is necessary approvers approve them. There are 4 types of approver roles, each one specific for each product:

  • Preload Approver
  • Campaign Approver
  • Data Rewards Approver
  • SAP (Sim App Push) Approver

It's important to say that this approver role has the same permissions as a creator, with the addition of being able to not only create campaigns, but also approve and fire them to users.

The difference between the two becomes evident with the use of each tool. When the creator sets up a campaign, he submits it for approval, then changes its status to Waiting approval and makes it ready for the approver to activate it.

Viewer

The Viewer can access campaigns and their analytics to only view them but he is not allowed to create or edit campaigns.

Campaign Tester

The Campaign Tester is only able to see test campaigns - campaigns automatically generated to test the integration with the DR SDK or to verify how campaign formats are showing on a real device.

They have permission to send test campaigns via the "Test Ad" feature in the options section of each campaign, on the campaign list:

Also the campaigns created by this role will not be visible to campaign creators and campaign approvers in the portal.

Client Admin

Client Admin is the administration role reserved for clients and platform users. Client Admin can invite new users and has all permissions that the previous roles have.

DR Admin

The DR Admin role is reserved only for DigitalReef staff. This roles has all permissions that the other roles have plus the access to the Adming section. This allows this user to create agencies, advertisers, categories and organizations. They can also edit Organization Settings which define more detailed behavior for campaigns.

Sensitive Info Viewer

This permissions allows users to visualize information in the Device Table feature. Given this table contains sensitive customer information such as phone number, users need this permission to have access to it. Device table will be disabled for users who don't have this permission enabled.

If this permission is also possible to use the "Export Devices" feature, where you can select the detailed information that you may need.

This permission needs to be used in conjunction with the other roles described above.

DR admins already have access to Device Table by default.
